Johnny Wokker Reviews

They have a unique text to order system that is cool, but unfortunately we missed the cutoff one evening by one minute and couldn't order. The food is good. Their rice has its own distinct flavor that I haven't experienced at any other restaurant. Their combination plate is best filling and is a great value for the times that we're living in. They always seem to be out of something though whether that be soda flavors, sauces, something....

12/15/24 - My granddaughter and I went shopping for her birthday gifts. She wanted to eat here for dinner. I wanted to order to go, but she wanted to dine-in and since it was part of her birthday I gave in. To me it was too cold to dine-in and every time someone came or left that cold air sent a shiver through me!!! We ordered the crab fried rice with shrimp. It is still delicious and they still give you a lot. Not like other restaurants who start off big and then a year or so later switch everything up. Our meal with two Pepsi's came up to $32.00 and I gave them a tip. We also put our name in the Christmas drawing they were having for a big screen tv I believe he said 55". That would look nice in my living room. My granddaughter was excited when I put my name in the drawing. I could already imagine how she and her brothers would act if I won. They would be over their heads with smiles!! I told my brother who lives here with his wife about this place but I will have to order so he can taste it. He probably already forgot where I said the restaurant is and doesn't want to bother me by asking again. His wife doesn't drive and only remembers things when it comes down to money so she can gripe about the cost but at the same time compliment how good the food is while eating it all!!! I also told my cousin in Vallejo so maybe her next visit or if I go up there, I will order for our dinner.

Nice casual restaurant. We had stopped into town to run errands so I convinced hubby to try this place. I had been here back in April to attend a reception after the passing of a friend of the family. All of the food was delicious back then, I'm not quite sure why we never returned. The staff is really nice and accommodating. When we first arrived they didn't look busy, there was only one other table with patrons. We figured it would be quick to pick up and go. We didn't realize there must have been quite a few orders before us, anyway, we waited almost a half hour for our food. With that said, we ordered the fried wings, crab fried rice (so so much crab) drunken noodles with Fried Pork Belly, love that you could have the noodles with your meat of choice Everything had tons of flavor. Definitely another go to place for us

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the crab fried rice. They cook everything fresh to order so there was a bit of a wait. They gave me some ice water while waiting because it was so hot outside. The restaurant is pretty big, would be good for groups. The rice came with so much crab and it was so flavorful. It lasted me like three or four meals. Would come back to try some of the noodle dishes.

Wow! This place is fantastic! Johnny Wokker is authentic Asian cuisine from a local Stockton resident. No chain here! Our server, Drew was attentive, friendly and even brought us ice because the bottled water wasn't very cold on this 102 degree day. The decor is epic with a v cool hand painted mural by a local graffiti artist. Very casual spot but don't be fooled into thinking this is fast food. Each dish is individually prepared and you will wait for these dishes. You won't be disappointed as the flavors are intense in the best way. I ordered Drunken Noodles without bell peppers at medium heat and I definitely couldn't go hotter! (Also good I had that ice, thanks, Drew.) Veggies were fresh and crunchy and the noodles tasted like they literally made while we were there. Nice and thick and chewy. They also slightly absorbed the tangy sauce. Dishes came out at different times when they were done. They didn't sit and get cold. This is a MUST support!

Top-notch service and vibes. Johnny Wokker can do you no wrong. They jampack your plate with a variety of veggies, meat, and noodles. I'm pretty sure I had around two extra meals with the leftovers (Spicy here is VERY spicy so FYI). Glad they were able to have a storefront after years of visiting their food truck. Solid place to grab some delicious food to go or dine in in the Stockton area.

Food here was VERY good, a decent price, and A LOT! * (1) Combo: rice +pork belly, chicken wings: pork belly was crunchy but not overcooked, great flavor; chicken wings were NOT those tiny ones, cooked to perfection - not heavy but super crispy and great flavor * (2) Crab rice: real crab; great flavor * extra 6pc fried chicken wings * (3) sodas The food came in shifts bc everything is made fresh. The service was okay - I was a bit frustrated with our server: Here's our convo: Me: May I have a Coke please? Her: We have Pepsi products. It's there on the menu. Me: Oh, I don't care for Pepsi. Can I have a Sprite or whatever ... (I intended to say, "Or whatever is the equivalent of Sprite.") Her: (interrupts) Sprite is a Coke product. We only have Pepsi product. Me: Fine. Give me whatever is the same as a Sprite. (Yes, with attitude bc at that point I was working hard to control my words and it was already written all over my face) Overall, the food is very good. You can definitely share a plate!! We will most likely be back. (I forgot to take pics when food came so these are more of the aftermath)
